How to convert your pool.
When deciding between a mineral pool system or a salt pool, it’s important to understand firstly what a mineral pool is and then what are the differences. When we think of salt water, we usually direct our minds to healing bodies of water like the ocean, or Epsom salt baths after vigorous physical activity.

Can any pool be converted to be a natural mineral pool?
Yes, any pool can be converted. We have designed easy conversion packages to suit any situation. Check out our mineral packages or visit the online calculator.
How much does it cost to convert my pool?
Upfront costs are between $200 and $3,500 fully installed, depending on the mineral pack you choose.
There will also be further costs savings e.g reduced chemical expenditure that would also be received from making the switch.
How much will the minerals cost me per year?
Ongoing costs of minerals is about $200 per year for an average sized pool (50,000L) in temperate environment.
How do I balance my pool after converting it to mineral?

What are the benefits of using the Quantum and the Minerals together?

What’s the difference between Essential Earth minerals and other brands?
We don’t blend our minerals with fillers such as potassium or salt. This makes our blend the powerful and affordable.
Do I need to remove or replace any equipment when I convert?
If all your key equipment (pump, filter and chlorinator) is working ok, we don’t have to replace anything. We just add minerals and connect any other chosen Theralux products such as the Quantum Purity and Pool+ Manager and install these within your existing filtration system.
